*Office Visits:
This year we have organized office visits to PASBA member offices. Buses will leave the hotel at 1:00 pm on Thursday and will return by 5:00 pm. Jerry Sutkiewicz, Ed Hastreiter and Tim Nolan offices will be visited.
**Individual Meetings:
Beginning Bookkeeper -- 8:30 am -- 3:30 pm
Basics class for learning the PASBA system. Includes how-tos for production, client reporting and overall PASBA process. There are no prerequisites for attendance.
Advanced Bookkeeper-Thomson Tax and Accounting -- 8:30 am -- 3:30 pm
A trainer from Thomson Tax and Accounting will be on site to teach the many facets of the Thomson software. Attendees must have at least one year of work experience in an accounting office and a working knowledge of accounting software.
Advanced Bookkeeper-Dillners -- 8:30 am -- 3:30 pm
George Dillner will provide training for Dillner existing and prospective users. Attendees must have at least one year of work experience in an accounting office and a working knowledge of accounting software.
Supervisor Training -- 8:30 am -- 3:30 pm
Beginning supervisors are encouraged to attend the first session to learn the basics of what a PASBA Supervisor job entails. Excellent opportunity for any Supervisor with less than 1 year of experience. There are no prerequisites for attendance. All other sessions are intended for all Supervisors. Topics to include efficiencies in processing, software applications, client relations and overall practice management. Attendees must have at least two years of work experience in an accounting office and be in a supervisory position.

From East -- Follow Interstate 94 West to the Moorland Road North Exit 301B. Turn left at the first light on Moorland Road and the hotel is on the left.
From North -- Follow US Highway 45 South to Interstate 94 West to the Moorland Road North Exit. Turn left at the first light on Moorland Road. The hotel is on the left.
From West -- Follow Interstate 94 East to the Moorland Road Exit 301. Turn left onto Moorland Road and the hotel is 1/2 block up on the left.
From South -- Follow Interstate 43 North to the Moorland Road Exit. Turn left off the exit and follow Moorland Road for approximately 5 miles. The hotel is on the left.
Who Should Attend
This meeting is for bookkeepers and owners of Association member accounting firms learning or using advanced production methods to process write-up services. There are no prerequisites to attend the meeting. For the Basic Bookkeeping seminar participants are expected to have a working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and owners are expected to have implemented the advanced production methods in their practices. All participants are encouraged to openly share information about the daily management and marketing of their practices during all sessions.

How to Prepare
Prior to the meeting, seminar leaders will solicit specific questions and issues from participants to select questions and issues to be reviewed in the meetings. While wanting to cover as many questions and issues as possible, it is not possible or feasible to use the meeting to resolve some firm specific questions or issues.
Bookkeepers and owners who have not previously attended this meeting should meet and review procedures they use to process client work and prepare for the increased production methods taught at the meeting.
Methods of Instructions
The speakers, panel members, and roundtable moderators present in an open seminar format that encourages questions and discussions by participants. The sessions are conducted in such a way that participants are expected to share specific questions or problems as well as make suggestions and provide information about production methods.
Learning Objectives and Outcomes
This meeting will teach participants how to:
1. Install and process new clients using the production system
2. Use advanced processing methods to improve productivity and efficiency
3. Change clients who are late and unorganized with submitted materials

CPE Credits
Up to 7.5 CPE credits will be offered at this meeting for a fee of $25 per person. CPE certificates will be processed following the meeting with fields of study assigned based upon the final agenda topics.
